How old do members have to be to signup?

Members must be a minimum of 16 years old and require proof of age to be presented at fob pickup (government issued ID only: birth certificate or driver’s license). Members under 18 MUST have parents co-sign (with secondary billing on file) for contract membership.

What are your office hours when I can come see the facility?

All of our current staffed office hours are always up to date on our Google listing.

How can I signup?

Signup can be completed 24 hours a day via our website. Fob pickup and waivers must be completed in person during our office hours. Please follow instructions sent via email after online signup is complete.

Where are you located?

We are located in the heart of downtown Ladysmith at #2-19 High Street, beside Fox and Hounds Pub.

What are your hours?

Once you are a member, the Haus is open to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Supplements and product purchases are also available to you for purchase 24 hours a day via our GymMaster app. We are owner operated, and not staffed during all times but operate 24 hour video surveillance.

Is there someone to show me how to use the equipment? Do you have personal trainers?

Membership fees do not include personal training but we do have subcontracted personal trainers that are able to offer a variety of services including orientations to the gym, online training, training plans, one-on-one sessions and more. Please email us for trainers accepting new clients.

Do you have classes?

We do not offer classes.

Do you have childcare?

We do not have childcare services.

Do you have a family plan?

We have a 12 month contract family plan for three or more members that must be billed to the same account.

Do you have a couple’s plan?

We have a 12 month contract couples plan for two members that must be billed to the same account.

How do I cancel my membership?

Memberships eligible for cancellation (completed 12 month contracts or month to month plans) must be cancelled via email (info@lifthaus.ca) at least seven to thirty (7-30) days BEFORE your billing date to suspend automated billing.

How can I cancel a contract membership?

Contract memberships roll into being month to month memberships after 12 consecutive payments have been made, when you can email us (info@lifthaus.ca) seven to thirty (7-30) days before your billing date to request to cancel. Contract memberships that haven’t fulfilled the 12 month agreement must pay the remainder of the contract owing in order to cancel. (*Some exceptions apply such as medical illness & accidents, long distance relocations; please email).

Can I start with Month to Month/10 Punch Pass just to try it out?

Members can start with Month to Month or 10 Punch passes and we can easily switch your membership over to the Contract or Paid in Full plans if you enjoy the Haus. Simply email us seven (7) days before your billing date and we can switch you to any membership type..

I changed my mind…can I get a refund?

We do not offer refunds on membership fees.

Can I change my billing?

Billing can be changed yourself at anytime via the GymMaster app by selecting Member Profile. We accept pre-authorized debit (PAD) banking information, VISA, Mastercard or AMEX.

Can I pay for my membership in person every month?

All billing is processed automatically by our third party billing system and must be kept on file through our encrypted and secure GymMaster software. Membership fees are not collected in person.

I got a message my bill didn’t process, or I’m locked out. Now what do I do?

Denied bills are sent an email instantly on bouncing. Please follow the directions within the email within three (3) days of your billing date to avoid automatic fob deactivation. By logging into your GymMaster member app, you can easily process this bill yourself. (*Please note we do not handle billing inquiries outside of office hours and their may be a $20 NSF charge applied to your account for failed billing.*)
